1. Overview
Z Construction LLC operates a private project management integration intended to connect its QuickBooks Online accounting information with its Microsoft 365 project management environment.
This application is intended exclusively for authorized internal business use by Z Construction LLC. It is not offered as a public or third-party software service.
2. Information Accessed
When authorized by Z Construction LLC, the application may access business information from QuickBooks Online, including:
- Company and project identifiers
- Vendor and subcontractor information
- Bills, expenses, checks, and vendor credits
- Transaction dates, amounts, and descriptions
- General ledger account classifications
- Project and cost-code assignments
- Transaction identifiers and modification dates
The integration is designed to retrieve information relevant to construction project financial reporting. Transaction records may contain personal information included in the underlying accounting data.
3. How Information Is Used
Information obtained through the QuickBooks integration is intended to support:
- Construction project budgeting
- Actual cost tracking and reporting
- Subcontractor commitment reconciliation
- Project financial dashboards
- Internal accounting reconciliation
- Identification of transaction changes and duplicates
Z Construction LLC does not intend to sell information obtained through this integration or use it for third-party advertising.
4. Storage and Access
Selected QuickBooks project financial information is intended to be synchronized into Z Construction LLC's Microsoft 365 SharePoint environment.
Access to the internal project management application and synchronized financial records is intended to be limited to authorized Z Construction LLC personnel.
Cloudflare provides hosting infrastructure for the integration. Intuit and Microsoft provide services involved in accessing and storing the relevant data.
5. Security
The integration is being developed with the objective of using secure authorization, encrypted connections, restricted application access, and protected storage of authentication credentials.
Production financial data synchronization will not be activated until the necessary security controls have been configured and tested.
No electronic system can guarantee absolute security.
6. Information Sharing
Information may be processed by service providers necessary to operate the integration, including Intuit, Microsoft, and Cloudflare, subject to their applicable agreements and privacy practices.
Z Construction LLC does not intend to sell or commercially distribute QuickBooks financial information obtained through this application.
7. Data Retention
Synchronized financial information may be retained for legitimate business, accounting, auditing, recordkeeping, and legal purposes.
Retention and deletion are subject to applicable legal requirements and Z Construction LLC's business recordkeeping practices.
8. Disconnecting QuickBooks
Z Construction LLC may revoke the application's QuickBooks Online authorization through the applicable Intuit account management controls.
Once authorization is revoked, the integration will no longer be authorized to retrieve new QuickBooks data.
Previously synchronized records may remain in Z Construction LLC's Microsoft 365 environment where required for accounting, audit, or recordkeeping purposes.

9. Changes to This Policy
This policy may be updated to reflect changes in the application, its data practices, or applicable requirements.
